If you’re driving, keep a look out for any turtles that might be crossing the road!
It’s turtle mating season, which means turtles are looking for someplace to lay their eggs.
Sometimes that means they end up in the road and in the way of cars.
According to the Daily Herald, McHenry County has even installed turtle crossing signs!
But if you’re looking up at the sign, you probably won’t see the turtle in the road, so I’m not sure how well that would work!
